Food People has partnered with a B2B business to bring onboard a Commercial Director to be based in the UAE

  • MUST have sweeteners experience
  • MUST have very strong commercial understanding
  • To be based in UAE

Food People is working on a Commercial Director position for a B2B business looking to grow their ingredients business in the region. They are looking for someone with a can-do mentality who wants to actively contribute to the further growth of the company and help achieve their vision

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy for the ingredients vertical
  • Drive business development to grow revenue with new and existing B2B customers
  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans across product lines such as sweeteners
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to grow the division
  • Forecast sales performance, manage budgets, and deliver against targets
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, R&D, and supply chain
  • Represent the company at industry events and drive GCC market penetration
  • Manage contracts, pricing, and key account relationships

Key Ingredients

  • MUST have track record in commercial leadership roles within food ingredients, specifically sweeteners
  • Strong understanding of B2B channels in the GCC
  • Ability to build, strategise, and lead a commercial function
  • Strategic thinker with operational execution capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
