About the Job:
Lead the quality, food safety, and innovation agenda for a high-volume industrial bakery operation. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional, compliant, and delicious bakery products across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee and implement robust quality assurance protocols (HACCP, GMP, FSMA, BRC).
-Conduct audits, analyse quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
-Lead product innovation from concept to launch, aligning with consumer trends and R&D.
-Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Sales, Production) to commercialise new bakery products.
-Ensure compliance with all local and international food safety and labelling regulations.
-Manage external certification processes (e.g., organic, gluten-free, non-GMO).
-Lead and develop a cross-functional team of QA, product development, and technical staff.
-Champion a culture of innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Ingredients:
-Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
-5-7 years in QA/R&D in the food or bakery industry.
-Experience launching innovative bakery products at scale.
-Strong knowledge of food safety systems and bakery formulation.
-Fluent in English. Arabic Preferred.
-Certifications preferred: HACCP, Food Safety Manager, PCQI.
-Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
