Food People has partnered with a global food ingredients company to bring onboard an Account Manager to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

  • Must have commercial experience in the food ingredients industry

Food People is partnered with a multinational food ingredients business looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of customers across Saudi Arabia. This role sits within the Sales function and focuses on executing the commercial strategy, strengthening customer partnerships, and expanding the company’s presence with new customers across the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with food and beverage manufacturing customers across Saudi Arabia
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with small and medium-sized customers in the market
  • Act as the primary commercial contact for customers, managing negotiations and sales activities
  • Travel regularly across Saudi Arabia to meet customers and build strong partnerships
  • Work closely with technical and application teams to support customer projects and product development
  • Analyse sales data, dashboards, and forecasts to identify gaps and growth opportunities
  • Develop territory plans and contribute to bottom-up budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support customer visits to regional facilities and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions
  • Maintain a strong market presence by understanding industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity

Key Ingredients

  • Bachelor’s degree with proven exposure to sales, account management, or business development
  • Must have experience within the B2B food ingredients industry
  • Must have experience selling into dairy and beverage manufacturers
  • Must have strong knowledge of the Saudi food manufacturing market and customer base
  • Experience managing multiple product categories or ingredient portfolios
  • Must be self-driven and capable of working independently in a home-based role
  • Strong analytical and commercial planning skills with the ability to interpret sales data and dashboards
  • Arabic language skills are preferred but not mandatory
  • Candidates based in Riyadh are preferred, though Jeddah is also acceptable
