About the role
The Country Manager will own the local commercial strategy, translating regional priorities into in-market action plans. You will lead sales delivery, distributor management, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to secure sustainable growth across modern trade, traditional trade, and foodservice channels
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the country commercial strategy
- Drive sales growth, margin delivery, and market share targets
- Country P & L, trade investment effectiveness, execution standards, and the performance of the commercial team
- Build and strengthen distributor partnerships with clear joint business plans
- Manage key customer relationships and commercial negotiations
- Ensure excellence in sales fundamentals, including distribution, visibility, pricing, and execution
- Lead, develop, and coach the local commercial team
- Ensure alignment with supply chain, marketing, finance, and other functions to deliver results
- Monitor performance through clear KPIs and take action to optimize outcomes
Key Ingredients
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field
- Extensive commercial leadership experience in food or beverage
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer management capability
- Track record of delivering growth in fast-paced markets
- Fluent in English; additional regional language is an advantage
