Are you an experienced electrical professional looking to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-performing food manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Lead to join our operations team and ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our electrical systems across the site.
– Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team, ensuring high standards of work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage all electrical systems, equipment, and controls across production, packaging, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve plant reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly, supporting production to achieve operational targets.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on continuous improvement projects and process upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices for food industry operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to audits, inspections, and technical documentation.
– Requirements
- Qualified electrician with relevant certifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within food or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and industrial automation.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring a technical team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, safety-first approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict hygiene and safety standards.
