Food People are seeking a Head Chef to lead the culinary vision for a premium casual dining concept. The successful candidate will play a key role in refining the menu, driving culinary execution, and helping launch an all-day dining venue focused on authenticity, innovation, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary setup and kitchen operations for a new premium casual dining concept.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to finalise the menu and contribute local ingredient insights for authenticity.
- Build and manage a multi-section kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency across all departments.
- Support hiring, training, and development of the full kitchen brigade pre-opening.
- Participate in tastings and evaluations with partners and internal decision-makers.
- Act as a brand ambassador, able to clearly communicate the concept and culinary direction.
- Ensure operational readiness and standards ahead of the restaurant’s opening.
Key Ingredients
- Proven experience as a Head Chef within premium casual dining or upscale restaurant environments.
- Strong understanding of flavour profiles, preparation techniques, and presentation styles aligned with elevated yet authentic cuisine.
- Ability to contribute creatively to menu development while respecting an existing culinary vision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, pre-opening environment with hands-on leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to represent the culinary brand with stakeholders.
