Food People is working with an FMCG business based in the UAE, in their search for a Head of Sales (Foodservice). The business is now going through a period of growth; therefore, they require someone who can oversee all commercial aspects of the business, bring in some structure, set KPI’s for the large salesforce, and motivate the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives and market dynamics
- Forecast revenue targets and develop action plans to achieve or exceed them
- Contribute to pricing, promotional, and assortment strategies in collaboration with finance, marketing, and procurement teams
- Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for the sales team and ensure continuous progress tracking
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategy and maintain competitive advantage
- Own the P&L for the sales function, with a focus on gross margin optimisation across product categories and customer segments
Key Ingredients
- 15+ years of experience in the same/similar position
- Experience managing a salesforce
- Demonstrated experience within the Foodservice channel
- Experience with owning P+L’s
- Based in Dubai, UAE
