About the Job
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing FMCG business, expanding into the Saudi market. This role will be based in Riyadh, with a strong focus on building retail partnerships. The Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving market entry, client acquisition, and long-term sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives across Saudi Arabia, focusing on retail channels.
- Build and manage key accounts with modern trade retailers (e.g., hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience chains).
- Develop and implement retail sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales and distribution goals.
- Negotiate contracts and secure long-term supply agreements.
- Collaborate with the GM and executive team to set sales strategies, KPIs, and expansion plans.
- Forecast sales trends and prepare budgets for retail channels.
- Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and recommendations for sales expansion.
- Ensure alignment with company objectives while adapting strategies to the local market.
Key Ingredients
- 10+ years of commercial sales experience within the Saudi FMCG/retail sector.
- Strong background in modern trade retail with proven results in contract negotiation and client management.
- Fluent Arabic speaker.
- Based in Saudi Arabia with flexibility to travel across the Kingdom.
- Proven ability to operate in Saudi Arabia
- Strong negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
