How the fight for GCC F&B talent is being won

In the GCC, there has been a dearth of talent across the food and beverage (F&B) sector for at least three years.

Historically, workers have been able to accelerate their careers extremely quickly and, looking specifically at the F&B restaurant industry, jump several career steps in just two to four years. This is unlike in developed markets where the journey typically takes much longer.

Today, this scenario continues to play out across the sector. More than ever, it applies to the top five to 10 percent of the real value-add change makers, where the industry is currently experiencing the biggest talent shortage.
