Gorilla Beverages Holding Company is a privately owned, fast growing energy drinks business with global ambitions and a strong entrepreneurial leadership team. Headquartered in Dubai, the company operates across key markets including Central Asia, the Middle East, the United States, Turkey and Egypt, with additional launches planned at pace. With a current turnover of approximately USD 500 million and a clear ambition to become one of the top five energy drink players globally by 2030, Gorilla is building a brand that speaks with people, not at them.

This role represents a pivotal moment for the business. As the company enters a new phase of international expansion, Gorilla is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead the evolution of its global brand and consumer engagement model. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the founders, this leader will shape how Gorilla connects with the next generation of everyday heroes across cultures, markets and channels. The mandate is to build a humble yet powerful brand that inspires through real stories, authentic talent and meaningful presence in daily life rather than spectacle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global marketing vision and strategy in line with Gorilla’s long term growth ambition
• Own the global brand positioning and ensure consistent yet locally relevant execution across all markets
• Lead and inspire a multicultural marketing organisation of approximately 35 team members across key regions
• Partner closely with market Marketing Directors to drive strong local activation, athlete engagement and media relationships
• Develop and manage a global marketing budget expected to scale to USD 30 to 40 million by 2026
• Build a network of creative, digital, athlete and cultural partners that bring authenticity and access to the right communities
• Guide the evolution of Gorilla’s consumer engagement model across retail, foodservice and daily consumption occasions
• Drive marketing effectiveness by balancing creativity with commercial impact and measurable results
• Act as a collaborative leader within the executive team, influencing through inspiration rather than hierarchy
• Travel frequently to priority markets to stay close to consumers, teams, athletes and partners

Key Ingredients

• Proven senior marketing leadership experience within FMCG, ideally beverages or adjacent lifestyle categories
• Around 10 to 15 years of progressive international experience in multicultural environments
• Strong connection to sports, culture, entertainment or performance driven communities
• Natural storyteller with a personal point of view and the ability to connect genuinely with young consumers
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to challenge conventions and adapt models to new realities
• Collaborative and humble leadership style with the ability to build trust across diverse teams
• High energy, curious and hands on, with a genuine passion for building brands that matter
• Strong interest in building a global legacy rather than taking on a traditional corporate role
• Openness to diversity in thinking, background and leadership style, with female leadership strongly encouraged
• Willingness to be based in Dubai or relocate with regional experience
