About the Job:
Lead the quality, food safety, and innovation agenda for a high-volume industrial bakery operation. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional, compliant, and delicious bakery products across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee and implement robust quality assurance protocols (HACCP, GMP, FSMA, BRC).
•Conduct audits, analyse quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
•Lead product innovation from concept to launch, aligning with consumer trends and R&D.
•Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Sales, Production) to commercialise new bakery products.
•Ensure compliance with all local and international food safety and labelling regulations.
•Manage external certification processes (e.g., organic, gluten-free, non-GMO).
•Lead and develop a cross-functional team of QA, product development, and technical staff.
•Champion a culture of innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Ingredients:
•Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
•5–7 years in QA/R&D in the food or bakery industry.
•Experience launching innovative bakery products at scale.
•Strong knowledge of food safety systems and bakery formulation.
•Fluent in English. Arabic preferred.
•Certifications preferred: HACCP, Food Safety Manager, PCQI.
•Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
