About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a premium homegrown fine dining concept seeking a passionate and visionary Head Chef. This role will lead the kitchen through its pre-opening and launch phase, helping to define a food offering that blends creativity, quality, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead the full kitchen operations from pre-opening through to post-launch service
•Design, refine, and deliver a seasonal, ingredient-led fine dining menu
•Collaborate closely with the founders and restaurant leadership to align the culinary direction with the brand’s identity
•Build and train a high-performance culinary team, fostering consistency, innovation, and excellence
•Champion sustainable practices in sourcing, preparation, and waste reduction
•Manage kitchen financials, cost control, and supplier relationships
•Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level
•Play an active role in kitchen leadership and broader team culture
Key Ingredients:
•Proven experience in fine dining or Michelin-recognised kitchens
•Strong pre-opening exposure and ability to build systems from scratch
•Deep understanding of sustainability in food sourcing and kitchen operations
•Passion for creating thoughtful, locally driven cuisine
•Strong leadership skills and ability to build and retain a cohesive team
•Experience in UAE or regional market is preferred but not essential
•Exposure to restaurants with a focus on sustainability is a strong plus
