About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded operational leader to oversee all aspects of a multi-site restaurant business in Egypt. This role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and team development across the organisation. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, identify expansion opportunities, strengthen business performance, and ensure the highest standards of customer experience, profitability, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, venue operators, and key external stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop senior managers across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing functions.
- Establish a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the business.
- Monitor and analyse operational and financial performance, ensuring key business objectives and KPIs are achieved.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, customer experience, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, suppliers, technology providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, health and safety regulations, and brand requirements.
- Support strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives.
- Lead and inspire teams while maintaining a positive, high-performance culture across the organisation.
Key Ingredients
- Proven experience leading multi-unit restaurant, franchise, or hospitality operations.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations within Egypt.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple locations and geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience driving business growth, expansion projects, and site development initiatives.
- Strong commercial, operational, and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and execution skills.
- Experience within QSR, food service, casual dining, or hospitality environments.
- Exposure to franchise business models and expansion-focused operations.
- Strong understanding of the Egyptian market, consumer trends, and regulatory environment.
