About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Financial Controller to support an FMCG company with their regional finance function in Dubai, UAE. This role sits at the heart of the finance team, acting as the key link between accounting operations and HQ reporting, while also serving as the SAP point of contact internally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver the monthly reporting package to HQ, including P&L, balance sheet, and trial balance
- Review and validate accounting entries before final posting in SAP
- Act as the SAP key user, supporting internal troubleshooting and system-related queries
- Partner with the sales team, providing financial guidance and insights
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards, including IFRS
- Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor financial performance and support month-end closing activities
- Maintain strong control over financial processes and reporting accuracy
Key Ingredients:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting, controlling, or financial reporting
- Strong experience in month-end closing and reporting
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Comfortable working in an international reporting structure
